Our journey began in response to the heartbreaking reality of horses being abandoned, neglected, or sent to slaughter—many as a direct result of the economic downturn caused by COVID. Determined to make a difference, we started with whatever resources we could gather, knowing that even saving one life would be worth it. That moment came when we placed the winning bid at a local auction, rescuing our first horse from a fate far too many face. From that day forward, Furvivors has worked tirelessly alongside veterinarians, equine specialists, and compassionate supporters to provide rehabilitation, sanctuary, and second chances to horses in need.
