1124 Huntsville Hwy Fayetteville TN 37334 Camp Blount Historic Site Association Preserving the mustering site of Americas First Volunteers Historic Camp Blount in Fayetteville TN is where General Andrew Jackson mustered troops for the Creek War in 1813. The Camp Blount Historic Site Association is a 501c3 nonprofit working to PRESERVE Camp Blounts history PROTECT the site from further encroachment and EDUCATE visitors about this prominent piece of history. The creation and ongoing development of the Camp Blount Historic Site is a collaborative effort between the Tennessee Historical and Wars Commissions TN Department of Environment and Conservation local government and the Camp Blount Historic Site Association. Camp Blount is a park owned by the State of Tennessee and managed by the City of Fayetteville.
