Hood Medicine Initiative, Inc is a nonprofit public health collective made up of scientists, hackers, and other assorted geeks dedicated to health equity and combating the spread of misinformation. Our mission is to make sure there is a trusted voice for disenfranchised communities and to do what we can to help improve the health of minorities across the nation. We are currently focused on providing charitable aid to those communities disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, and other vulnerable high-risk populations. Our funding goals are centered around implementing innovative technological solutions for healthcare access and increasing food security and nutritional equity for struggling families. We are compelled to use science for good--it is what we were trained to do!
