Private foundation providing philanthropic services & promoting the health & well-being of our community members in the 5-parish GNO area to #HelpNOLAHeal Since its inception in 1924, BCM has served the citizens of New Orleans and South Louisiana by encouraging a "healthy community." Its efforts began through the successful construction of a healthcare facility that grew to become a highly respected provider of medical care for thousands of patients annually. In 1995, it redeployed its assets through the sale of its hospital facility and become one of the largest private foundations in Louisiana. The mission of BCM has remained the same; however, will continue to focus on supporting programs that improve the living conditions and health of the people in the surrounding New Orleans five-parish region.
