BSA MISSION STATEMENTThe mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical choices over their lifetime by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.SCOUT OATHOn my honor, I will do my best to do my duty to God and my Country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight.SCOUT LAWA Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean and reverent.The Greater Tampa Bay Area Council serves boys in 1st grade through age 18 in the Scouting program; all ages 14 - 21 in the Venturing program and children in elementary and middle school through the Learning for Life program. We serve the following counties: Citrus, Hernando, Hardee, Highlands, Hillsborough, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, and Sumter.
