Imua Kākou Chapter of National Ambucs, Inc is a local non-profit organization dedicated to providing therapeutic tricycles to Hawaii's special keiki. The mission of Imua Kākou Chapter of National AMBUCS™, Inc. Imua Kākou is a non-profit service organization dedicated to creating mobility and independence for people with disabilities. As Hawaii's first chapter, Imua Kākou provides AmTryke® therapeutic tricycles to Hawaii's children and young adults who are unable to operate a traditional bicycle or tricycle. These trykes are adapted and custom fitted to each individual to allow for independent riding. For children and adults with disabilities, riding an AmTryke may increase range of motion and endurance, improve muscle tone and strength, and promote self-confidence and independence.
