The primary purpose of the ATG is to empower small and mid-size farmers with sustainable agricultural methodology and to reduce poverty and hunger. Through educational seminars and field demonstrations, we promote more efficient farm management practices to help the growers reduce production cost, increase their productivity and income. Currently we are focusing our efforts on the following areas: 1- Supply Mobile Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (MVDL) to Veterinarians in less developed countries with the means to track and diagnose animal diseases on small family farms of dairy, cattle, sheep, goats and pigs, to help increase their income and minimize the spread of zoonotic and infectious diseases from animals and plants to humans. 2- Establish a grape nursery with a phylloxera resistant root stock to protect and save the centuries old indigenous grape varieties from a major catastrophe. 3- Through Seed Multiplication Program provide high quality, and higher yielding Wheat, Alfalfa, Corn, and other seeds to the growers. 4- Introduce and promote no-till farming methodology that helps in the following areas: Economic Saving - cut labor cost by 40%, fuel usage by 50%, irrigation need by 25%, and farm equipment usage by 48%; Agriculture - increase organic components and nutrients on the soil which eliminates the need for tilling and leveling; Environment - helps preserve moisture in the soil and reduce soil erosion by up to 95%.
