Scituate Alliance of Natural Disaster Services Inc
The mission of SANDS is to bring together community, government, faith based organizations, businesses and volunteers committed to making their community become more prepared, resilient, and self-sufficient. Together, members will enhance Scituate’s ability to mitigate, prepare, respond, and recover from disasters thus ensuring that our neighbor’s needs, compromised in a disaster, are evaluated and addressed. Efforts of the organization are meant to augment those already in existence. Efficient and coordinated response will maximize public and private resources available. This will be achieved through cooperation, coordination, and collaboration of stakeholders.
