Voice of Compassion of the Children of Haiti
Voice of Compassion of the Children Haiti is a non-profit organization, founded in 1994 in effort to address the deplorable living conditions for many families and children in Haiti. After the earthquake in 2010, tens of thousands of children lost their parents, left to live in extreme poverty – unable to attend school, constantly exposed to hunger and disease. The surviving children went to live with others and most were abused or neglected. The orphanage was opened to provide a safe and nurturing home for these special children. A few years ago, we opened a Community Elementary School, and have since been providing our orphans and underprivileged children with education and daily nutritious meals. Currently we have no more space, but a strong desire to help more children.
