The Monterey County Sheriff’s Advisory Council (SAC) is a non-profit, 501c3 public benefit organization providing funding for the Office of the Sheriff. Monterey County Sheriff's Advisory Council's (SAC) mission is to assist the Monterey County Sheriff’s Department in raising additional funds to purchase safety equipment and training for Search and Rescue (SAR) not budgeted by the Sheriffs Office. SAC assists the Sheriff’s Department & other Monterey County law enforcement agencies in increasing public awareness of the safety and community-focused programs of these agencies.
