On Memorial Day, we pause to honor the people who gave their lives in service to our country including the sacrifices made to end tyranny and protect human dignity around the world. As we reflect on those who fought in World War II, we remember the liberators who uncovered the horrors of the Holocaust, and the victims who suffered under its unimaginable cruelty. Their courage, resilience, and memory remind us that freedom is never free and that we must stand against antisemitism and all forms of bigotry.
