The Music Room Foundation is dedicated to serving and improving the lives of children and adults with disabilities through free (no cost) music and music-based therapy programs. Our programs employ proven music-based therapy techniques to encourage the further development of cognitive, social, linguistic, and motor skills--areas in which our special needs students and adults often struggle. Many of these students are also non-verbal, and music provides an outlet for them to express themselves emotionally and creatively in ways that are more accessible to them. Our focus is to promote the physical, emotional, intellectual, and therapeutic value of music in the lives of both children and adults at no cost to the individual or family.
