The Get Growing Foundation
The Get Growing Foundation (GGF) had been the cornerstone of The Chicago Flower & Garden Show® bringing education and year-round programming to the event. Due to the COVID19 pandemic, the Show was canceled just days before its March 2020 opening, but its programs and education continue to live on through the Foundation. Now as a stand-alone 501c3 nonprofit, The Get Growing Foundation has a mission to inspire, educate, and motivate the next generation of gardeners through community outreach and education, experience based learning, and horticultural job skills training and placement. The need to cultivate the next generation of gardeners and enrich our communities with new career opportunities remains of paramount importance—and GGF stands committed to bringing green to those in need.
