Benevolent Hearts
Benevolent Hearts mission is to prepare every young adult that participates in our program with job placement training, social skills and etiquette, entrepreneurial and leadership lessons, mental and health care programs, and college preparedness in an effort to better prepare them to graduate from high school with a plan for the future and for the ever-changing and demanding world around them.
Benevolent Hearts
Benevolent Hearts is a U.S. nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth and promoting healthy lifestyles. The organization is designated as a 501(c)(3), qualifying it as a tax-exempt entity for religious, educational, charitable, scientific, literary, testing for public safety, or other purposes[4].
Mission
The mission of Benevolent Hearts is multifaceted. It aims to provide children and teens with essential information for making healthy lifestyle decisions, focusing on topics such as nutrition, hygiene, bullying prevention, substance abuse awareness, and the importance of physical education. This effort is particularly targeted at youth between grades K-12, when they are most impressionable[1].
Additionally, Benevolent Hearts works to encourage and enable youth to become positive, responsible, and contributing members of their local community. This is pursued through the motto "Touching One Heart At A Time," emphasizing the organization's commitment to individual impact and community development[2].
Programs and Services
The organization achieves its goals by forming partnerships with various community groups, including churches, after-school programs, charter schools, neighborhood summer blocks, and youth groups. Facilitators are trained to deliver positive messages through engaging activities such as music, storytelling, dance, skits, and interactive presentations. These programs often include multimedia displays, question-and-answer sessions, and certificates of completion to reinforce participants' engagement and learning[1].
Benevolent Hearts also offers comprehensive programs aimed at preparing young adults for the future. These include job placement training, social skills and etiquette lessons, entrepreneurial and leadership development, mental and health care programs, and college preparedness. The ultimate goal is to equip high school graduates with a clear plan for navigating the complexities of the modern world[2].
Community Outreach
As a community-focused organization, Benevolent Hearts engages in youth outreach initiatives. It is part of the broader network of nonprofit organizations dedicated to enhancing the lives of young people through education, personal development, and community involvement.
