TACOMA CONCERT BAND Who we are Entering its 43rd season with Conductor and Artistic Director Gerard Morris the Tacoma Concert Band enjoys a sterling regional national and international reputation. With over 60 musicians this awardwinning band brings to life a variety of music from classical to pop traditional to modern. While the band has delighted audiences from Ireland to Vienna Budapest to Madrid and the French Riviera nowhere does the music sound better than at home in Tacoma. What we do The mission of Tacoma Concert Band is to provide the Puget Sound community with a professional quality wind ensemble to offer a highquality performance opportunity to local wind and percussion musicians to support and encourage the regions school band programs and to affirm the need for community concert bands within the American music scene.
