UCP of Sacramento and Northern California provides programs and services that improve the independence, productivity, and quality of life for people with developmental disabilities and their families throughout the Greater Sacramento Region(Sacramento, Yolo, Placer, El Dorado, and Nevade Counties). UCP provides services for over 3,100 individuals every month through four program divisions; Transportation, Family Respite, Adult Growth and Independent Living, and Recreation. UCP partners with CPARF, an international organization that does research on cerebral palsy to create technologic equipment to support individuals with disabilities to host STEPtember annually.
