Save the date for this year's festival: April 24, 2022! We preserve and promote Japanese American culture through programs, education, and outreach. Our mission is “To perpetuate the Japanese American experiences, cultural customs, and traditions.” We do this in part by hosting the annual Nikkei Matsuri Festival in San Jose Japantown. Save the date for next year's festival on April 27, 2025! OUR MISSION IS TO PERPETUATE THE JAPANESE AMERICAN EXPERIENCES, CULTURAL CUSTOMS, AND TRADITIONS. WE DO THIS IN PART BY HOSTING THE ANNUAL NIKKEI MATSURI FESTIVAL IN SAN JOSE JAPANTOWN, PROVIDING A FORUM FOR SHARING CULTURAL EXHIBITS AND PERFORMANCES AS WELL AS OPPORTUNITIES FOR MANY COMMUNITY-BASED CHARITIES TO RAISE FUNDS THROUGH CULTURAL FOOD-BASED SALES.

It’s hard to believe it’s already been a little over a month since the Nikkei Matsuri Festival. We want to take a moment to thank everyone who joined us in celebrating Japanese American culture and community 🫶🏻 This festival wouldn't be what it is today without your love and support for the community, our fellow non-profits, and all of the amazing artisans who participated. This year’s festival was full of incredible energy—from the amazing performances and delicious food to the beautiful crafts and more.
