Our mission is to extend the healing ministry of Jesus Christ. CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Health System (CSRHS) was founded in 1869 by the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word. Today we remain the only Catholic faith-based, non-profit health care system in San Antonio and New Braunfels. Operating since 1997, the Friends of CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Foundation continues the work of our founding Sisters by generating philanthropic support for community outreach initiatives, equipment and medical services for the underinsured and uninsured. The Friends Foundation serves underserved adults and families in Bexar, Comal and surrounding counties. Our primary goal is to expand access to care, close to home.
