On MEMORIAL DAY we honor and remember fallen service members from all military branches🫡🎖️. Featured here are members of the WAVES (Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service) which was the women’s branch of the United States Naval Reserve during World War II. Oklahoma Agricultural & Mechanical College (OAMC now Oklahoma State University) served as a significant training facility for the WAVES—with over 10,000 women trained in clerical and administrative skills during WWII.
