Since 1968 LIFT Community Action Agency, Inc. has helped low-income families attain self-sufficiency. Our mission is Helping People, Changing Lives. LIFT Community Action Agency, Inc. is a private, nonprofit 501(c)3 organization whose mission is “To improve the lives of low-income individuals and families through service and collaboration leading to self-sufficiency.” LIFT, which stands for “Lifting Individuals for Tomorrow”, exemplifies the agency's mission, as lifting others up is reflective of our desire to inspire the communities served while encouraging upward mobility.
