Special Operations Support
Special Operations Support – Emergency Response (SOS-ER), is a nonprofit organization of professionally trained emergency responders whose careers have taken them away from a First Responder career and other civilians who wish to volunteer to utilize their skills as additional resources in support of professional first responder authorities with a focus on the wellbeing and public safety of the community when called upon. The focus areas in which services will be provided are in support of the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) services defined under Emergency Support Function (ESF) #2 Communications and ESF #9 Search and Rescue.
