Home Friends of Leon Valley Public Library Since 1977 the Friends of the Leon Valley Public Library a 501 c 3 taxexempt organization has been the support organization for the Leon Valley Public Library. Combining the interests of both residents and business the Friends have ensured that the Library has the extra resources that it needs to continue to be the heart of the city. The Friends have raised money and provided volunteers for projects furnishings supplies matching grants and programs for every age group. Spring Book Sale February 28th and March 1st The Spring Book Sale will be held at the Library Annex at 6500 Evers Road on Friday February 28th 9AM to 6PM and Saturday March 1st from 930am to noon.
