Free Narcan, Test strips, Safer-use Supplies, Emergency Contraceptive, and more! 501c3 Nonprofit - Volunteer powered! The mission of Evansville Recovery Alliance is to prevent the transmission of infectious disease and opiate overdose by reducing high risk behaviors with a peer-centered, harm reduction approach, evidence-based services, and enhanced access to medical supplies and health education, including referrals to substance-use recovery programs and mental health resource partners within Vanderburgh County. ERA is unique as an organization in that our work entails building one-on-one relationships with individuals affected by HIV and substance use disorder and provides flexible, personalized and dignified options for achieving any positive change as they define it for themselves. All ERA board of directors and volunteers are certified through The National Harm Reduction Coalition.
