Ellymayflys Wildlife Rehabilitation and Educational Programs
Our rescue is focused on inspiring a greater understanding of Michigan's wildlife, with the ultimate goal of minimizing the need for wildlife rehabilitation through avoidance of common reasons animals come into our care. We focus primarily on rehabilitating turtles that have been injured while crossing the road. We also care for orphaned and injured small mammals. In an expanding human world, our goal is to encourage others to live in harmony with loved and misunderstood creatures alike, by protecting their habitat, welcoming them into our yards, and continuing to save individual animals as needed.
