The Lotus Flower Giving Society The Lotus Flower Giving Society Finding a treatment and cure for sarcoma and supporting patients in Western New York Out of Darkness Comes Light The Lotus Flower Giving Society was created out of love and in memory of Jacob A. Madonia who passed away on April 17 2018 after a 10year battle with synovial sarcoma. Jake always wanted to help others. As both a nurse and patient at Roswell Park Cancer Institute he was acutely aware of his blessings including his widespread network of support and ability to access resources and treatments that provided him with such a high quality of life for so long.
