GSM is a NFP that Honors and Supports Gold Star Families by preserving their Fallen Heroes’ Memories. The Gold Star Mission is a nonprofit organization that seeks to Honor and Support our Illinois Gold Star Families by preserving the memory of their Illinois Fallen Military Service Members. The Fallen Heroes History Project is a remembrance program sponsored by the Gold Star Mission. The intent is to preserve the memory of our Fallen Heroes through the reflection of their lives by loved ones and close friends. We have completed 11 videos with many more in the works. https://goldstarmission.org/fallen-hero.php Gold Star Mission is proud to offer scholarships to anyone with an Illinois connection seeking higher education, whether it be an undergraduate degree, a certificate, or a trades/technical certification. Since 2018, we have issued over $280,000 in scholarships.
