WALDEN WEST OUTDOOR SCHOOL FOUNDATION
Inspiring passion for science and the environment by supporting Walden West Outdoor School. The mission of WWF is to empower the children of Santa Clara County to develop a life-long passion for science, engineering and environmental stewardship through the support of Walden West Outdoor School, a flagship environmental education program of the Santa Clara County Office of Education. The Foundation ensures equal access to this program to all students through tuition assistance and helps to create a robust program through improved facilities and program enhancements. By attending Walden West, area 5th & 6th graders gain increased knowledge about our natural world, learn social skills, and are inspired to be the next generation of environmental stewards.
