As of July 2, 2021, Get Us PPE has completed our mission to get PPE to those who needed it most! What started as a simple hashtag became the largest national organization serving frontline workers and underserved communities during the COVID-19 pandemic and resulting PPE shortage. In 16 months of operation, we were able to distribute over 14 million units of PPE thanks to the cooperation of thousands of generous people. Our talented and devoted team of over 500 volunteers dedicated countless hours to the Get Us PPE Mission. Thank you to every single person who donated to help to get PPE where it is needed. Thousands of donations poured in from all corners of the US and beyond. We received equipment, materials to produce equipment, and funds to ensure that PPE could be shipped to requestors in need. We are acutely aware that not every request made was able to be matched with a donation through Get Us PPE.
