We are a ground zero mobile ministry that reaches out to adults and youth in communities in crisis. Bridge the Gap Lexington seeks to bridge the gap between individuals living in communities in crisis and the spiritual, physical and community resources they need to realize hope and opportunity for a better life. We go out to streets, motels, shelters, recovery homes, and subsidized housing complexes to demonstrate God's love by meeting immediate physical needs - such as food, hygiene and clothing - while sharing a message of hope and opportunity. Rather than just distribute handouts, we seek to build trust and relationships through consistent presence over time. We partner with churches, non-profits, government agencies, recovery professionals and other organizations to connect our friends with available community resources and networks of support.
