📣 EXCITING NEWS: Austin Street is a finalist for Organization of the Year!! 📣 This is the 8th Annual Nonprofit & Corporate Citizenship Awards presented by D CEO Magazine & Communities Foundation of Texas and Austin Street Center is grateful to be recognized as a finalist for organization of the year in the mega category. A REAL difference was made at Austin Street this weekend during our Family Service Day 🧑🧑🧒🧒 On 5/17, more than 35 volunteers spent their Saturday morning at our shelter – with many attendees being little ones! Families built snack packs that will be shared with homeless individuals on the streets, organized the donation room so that our clients can receive basic necessities quickly, and received a guided tour of the shelter and saw individuals they were directly impacting 😀 We’re grateful for the large turnout and hope to see more families volunteer & build memories together at Austin Street soon 🫶🏽 (fb)
