During World War II thousands of British pilots learned to fly at six civilian training schools in the United States. The first of these schools was in Terrell, Texas. THE ORGANIZATION MAINTAINS A MUSEUM AT 119 SILENT WINGS BLVD, TERRELL TX 75160, WHICH IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC FROM 10 A.M. TO 4 P.M. CT ON EACH WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY, AND SATURDAY.
