At Pegasus, our mission is to elevate the capabilities of children and adults with disabilities through therapeutic horseback riding. We are dedicated to providing comprehensive full-body-range-of-motion exercises and therapy with specially trained equines to promote muscle strength, joint flexibility, and increased circulation for those with physical disabilities. Our program empowers many disabled individuals by allowing them to foster a sense of accomplishment, community and self-empowerment.

Throughout its years of operation the organization has touched the lives of countless individuals with its equineassisted therapy programs and has become an integral part of the local communitys support network. Pegasus has serviced thousands of Coachella Valley children and adults with disabilities for over 40 years. Over the years we have partnered with Desert Arc local school districts and families to ensure that our services reach a variety of riders.
