EastWest Food Rescue is a registered 501 (c) (3) nonprofit supporting farmers, preventing crop waste Our Mission: Supporting farmers and caringly feeding our neighbors in need. Our Strategy: We move food where it is needed. EastWest Food Rescue acquires or purchases surplus food predominantly from farmers and distributes it with empathy to people experiencing food insecurity. We coordinate every step from finding new sources of nutritious surplus food to organizing transportation to ensuring rescued food is given to people challenged by food insecurity free of charge. We support the farming community and work towards sustainable solutions for the food system.
