Behind the scenes of one of Joni Eareckson Tada’s radio recording sessions! 🎙️ Recording a radio program is no small feat, especially for Joni who lives with quadriplegia. It's much more than just sitting in front of a mic! With her limited lung capacity, each session begins with Joni carefully positioned in her wheelchair and supported with binders for maximum breath support. To soothe her throat and warm up her voice, she sips hot tea with honey. And throughout her recording she pauses often to cough, drink water, and catch her breath. Yet week after week, Joni shows up with joy and a deep determination to make Jesus Christ known. As each session unfolds (and through your prayer support), her voice grows stronger, the Spirit shines through her, and she presses on to successfully record each of her programs that she writes herself!
