We are a Non-Profit Organization! We are raising awareness for invisible illnesses! The mission of Invisible Illness Awareness Network is to increase awareness and understanding of invisible illnesses through our adaptable education program for high schools, colleges, and other forms of higher education institutions. We provide resources and support to the invisible illness community, fostering compassion, understanding, and reducing stigma among patients, providers, and the general population. Our goal is to create a safe, supportive environment for those living with invisible illnesses and Disabilities.

October is a month to shine a light on awareness, understanding, and advocacy. It’s a time to honor those navigating unique health journeys and the professionals and communities supporting them. October is the awareness month for: Augmentative and Alternative Communication, Accreta, ADHD, Blindness, Bone and Joint Conditions, Brachial Plexus Injuries, Breast Cancer, Canavan Disease, Down Syndrome, Dysautonomia, Facial Pain, Rett Syndrome, Kabuki Syndrome, Learning Disabilities, Niemann-Pick Disease, Perthes Disease, Prenatal-Onset Group B Strep, Spina Bifida, and Sudden Cardiac Arrest.
