Meet Chevy 👋 – A Sweetheart Ready for His Second Chance! Chevy came to us from a local shelter after being found in a state of severe neglect. He was in rough shape and couldn’t wait any longer for help. His fur was missing and skin was raw from an infection. Since then, he has been thriving in his loving foster home and his transformation in just a few weeks has been incredible! With some much-needed TLC, Chevy’s skin and coat have improved dramatically, and his sweet personality is finally shining through. 💙 Everyone who meets Chevy falls in love with his gentle, affectionate nature and his most soulful eyes. 😍 Chevy is around 3 years old and 40lbs. He’s an excellent cuddler, a great listener, and easy to redirect. He absolutely adores car rides 🚗 and playing with toys 🧸. Chevy’s just as happy romping around with his humans as he is entertaining himself with a toy or two! While Chevy is potty trained, he tends to get so excited when his person comes home that he lets out a little dribble 🥹—but his foster is working on this with him. He’s also fantastic in his crate and he picked up leash skills quickly! Chevy can be dog-selective, so slow introductions with calm, respectful dogs are best. 🐶 He hasn’t spent much time around kids, but his foster believes he’d be friendly—just a little bouncy—so a home with children 10 or older would likely be the best fit. Her compatibility with other dogs and cats is unknown, but she has a sweet, friendly spirit and would love a home to call her own. 🤍 Cane is a 50 lb male Pittie mix who’s crate and potty trained. He’s a happy, playful guy who’s been spending far too much time in his crate. Cane lives with a toddler and does great with kids. He’s had slow introductions with another dog—he’s eager to play but still learning how to socialize. 🤍 Kinzie is a 2-year-old female Shepherd mix who’s both smart and active. She’s potty trained, knows lots of commands, and is wonderful with kids and other dogs. Kinzie would thrive in a home that can provide plenty of exercise and ideally a furry sibling to play with. (fb)
