At Orlie’s Shoe Drive, we focus on providing school age children with one of life’s basic necessities to carry them through the day: shoes. We strive to never let a single child go without. Providing new tennis shoes to children in our community and using it as a platform to spend time with them and remind them how important they are. Many of the children we provide shoes to are homeless or are close to it and do more walking then most. Not only does it bring the child a sense of worth by individuals spending time with them, but it provides a basic necessity of new tennis shoes for all the walking they do. The majority of the children that receive shoes from Orlie's Shoe Drive have shoes that are in very bad condition and in most cases, do not fit the child.
