Seacoast Womens Giving Circle
We are pleased to announce that additional funds have been raised to also partially support a 5th organization, Southern Maine Agency on Aging. Southern Maine Agency on Aging is the focal point in Cumberland and York counties for resources, services, and information to empower older adults, adults with disabilities, and their caregivers to live to their fullest potential. It provides robust programing specifically for caregivers, including information on benefits, ”Meals on Wheels,” Savvy Caregiver Program and other classes to teach about community resources, stress management and problem solving, Caregiver respite such as adult day care, and financial reimbursement for someone else to provide care.
