Doing Good Work in Africa

This initiative connects brilliant and innovative university students to organizations working grassroots on initiatives in Africa. DOWA (Doing Good Work in Africa) is a 501c3 organization leading a groundbreaking initiative, which seeks to attract U.S based undergraduate students from diverse backgrounds to apply for the DOWA internship program. This program selects about 100 undergraduate students a year and matches them to innovative African organizations working on good, scalable and impactful projects across several African countries. In addition to DOWA interns collaborating on creating innovative solutions to development challenges, the DOWA initiative ensures access to development opportunities such ongoing mentorship, cultural immersion, personal and professional development sessions.
