The mission of Art Basics Corporation is to provide fine arts enrichment programs for students and the general public throughout South Texas. Art Basics Corporation believes that fine art is the soul of our community and culture and has identified opportunities to bring art and artists to schools and communities. In accomplishing its mission, Art Basics Corporation will work with communities to acquire a permanent collection of contemporary art by known and emerging American artists, assist communities with programs designed to develop and nurture art with "Artist-in-Residence" programs, and to create a Legacy Fund to provide permanent enrichment opportunities and scholarship opportunities for graduating students. Support for Art Basics Corporation comes through tax-deductible donations, corporate and foundation grants, and sales of art donated by the artists. Art Basics Corporation has "partnered" with some of America's finest artists and is building this network of "Art Partners" to meet the demands of communities.
