Offering a continuum of care for medical-surgical services and physical rehabilitation, Casa Colina Casa Colina is a 501(c)3 medical rehabilitation provider with a seventy-five year history of providing fundamental services to individuals who have sustained catastrophic injuries such as brain and spinal cord injury, stroke and amputations; or other conditions leading to short and long term disability. The guiding principle of Casa Colina is stated in its Mission: “to provide individuals the opportunity to maximize their medical recovery and rehabilitation potential efficiently in an environment that recognizes their uniqueness, dignity and self esteem.” It is our commitment to enhance the quality of life of every person we serve through a multi-disciplinary approach, by providing a culture of collaboration where medical and rehabilitation experts work together synergistically to help individuals recover and thrive. With support of the community, the vision of the Board, and dynamic leadership, Casa Colina has developed from a rehabilitation center for children with polio in 1936 into a leader in medical rehabilitation for all ages. With its extensive continuum of care, Casa Colina is the only non-profit, free standing, independent rehabilitation hospital in California.
