Our vision of Lake Erie Institute is to cultivate ecological community and leadership, through holistic environmental education, to help restore balance with the Earth. We provide workshops, retreats, and training programs that bring forth Earth-honoring ideas, leadership skills, spiritual practices and healing modalities. The goal of our events and programs is to foster the knowledge, skills, natural senses, and wisdom needed to live in balance with all of life on Earth. We believe that holistic environmental education—integrating mind, body, spirit, and Earth—is required to create thriving and socially just local communities. Educating to bring forth the psycho-spiritual facets of an Earth-conscious civilization is essential to solving the challenges of our planetary community.
