Today was a very special day for the foundation and our family. We met with our Medical Review Team (MRT), which is made up of medical experts in the cardiac field, to discuss recently submitted research applications. This will be the 4th round of grants funded by The Graeme McDaniel Foundation. We are so thankful for our BOD and our MRT (Dr. Morris, Dr. Uppu, and Dr. Lin - not pictured) for your support and guidance to ensure we choose the best research projects for the CHD population. We cannot wait to share the upcoming funded projects with you! Thank you to our donors and supporters that have made this process possible. The Graeme McDaniel Foundation Sometimes superheroes reside in the hearts of small children Fighting Big Battles Our Story Our Mission We hope that by spreading awareness and touching your heart we can raise money to fund congenital heart defect CHD research and support heart families. OUR SON GRAEME WAS BORN IN 2012 WITH COMPLEX CONGENITAL HEARt DEFECTs. He spread love everywhere he went for the 212 years that he spent with us. Now we are keeping his memory alive by raising awareness and funding research to try and help other families who are dealing with CHDs.
