The United Phoenix Firefighters Association, Inc. was established in 1963. Its original mission was to provide facilities for the attainment of social, charitable and educational needs of Firefighters and their families. Since its inception, The Firefighters Association has greatly expanded its role within the communities it serves. By the nature of its jobs it continually responds to and resolves crisis situations. The Association's belief is that with proper education and awareness, many of those emergency situations could be prevented. It is the organization's goal to develop, administer and fund educational and awareness programs that save people's lives. The Association's mission is to make the community a safer and better place to live.
