The Pikesville Armory Foundation leads the once-in-a-generation opportunity to transform a 14-acre historic military site into a reimagined arts-infused intergenerational community space that will impact the northwest corridor of Baltimore, Maryland. The Pikesville Armory Foundation (PAF), created in 2021 to carry out the collective vision and dream of community stakeholders, leads the redevelopment of the historic Pikesville Armory, built in 1903 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. This once-in-a-generation opportunity will transform a 14-acre decommissioned military site into an arts-infused intergenerational space that will impact the entire northwest corridor of Baltimore, MD. The reimagined Armory will provide safe, accessible spaces for all, including athletic fields, arts and cultural venues, cafés, walking paths, playgrounds, gardens, meeting spaces for veterans, co-working and studio spaces, youth development activities, and more.

We are creating a Memorial Walk on our reimagined campus with historic markers denoting the history of the units of WWI WWII and the Global War on Terror ensuring that history is honored for generations to come. THE PROJECT This 14acre campus will offer indoor and outdoor athletic infrastructure and programming a stateoftheart ADAfriendly playground and splashpad coworking areas and makerspaces for small businesses and entrepreneurs a community theater public art displays rehearsal and performance spaces walking paths a restaurant and cafes green areas and gardens meeting spaces and programming for veterans and so much more. A longterm publicprivate partnership with Baltimore County is bringing the largest and most modern senior center of the area to the Pikesville Armory.
