Farmers for Sustainable Food

Farmers for Sustainable Food is a United States nonprofit organization aiming to promote and support farmer-led solutions to environmental challenges. The organization was originally formed in 2016 as the Dairy Strong Sustainability Alliance and later transformed into its current form, expanding its focus beyond dairy and Wisconsin to support sustainable farming practices across the Upper Midwest.

As of recent developments, the organization supports seven farmer-led groups, covering significant acreage and livestock across several states.

Initially established by the Dairy Business Association and The Nature Conservancy, Farmers for Sustainable Food has expanded its partnerships to include various stakeholders across the food supply chain.
