California Area Regenerations
The objective and primary purpose of California Area re:Generations (CARE) shall be to improve, develop, preserve, and promote the California, PA area through renewal, restoration, and beautification projects; educational endeavors; and other relevant means. Some of our goals include: 1)Acknowledgement of notable persons, places, and events in our area and methods to educate others about them. We would like to place historical markers, develop walking/driving tours, and create informational and educational apps and brochures, among other things. 2)Small curbside grants to area residents to help spruce up our neighborhoods. A coat of paint, some weed whacking, a bit of power washing…a little can go a long way. 3)Beautification projects, including art installations.
