Humanitarian aid is under threat at a time of unprecedented need. The IRC is one of many humanitarian agencies being forced to shutter essential programs due to US government aid cuts. In South Sudan, these terminations could mean the closure of critical health facilities like this one in Wedweil refugee camp. This settlement is home to over 20,000 refugees fleeing extreme violence and famine in Sudan. Across the country, projects helping hundreds of thousands of vulnerable people access vital health care and nutrition services could be forced to shut down.
