The Friends of Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge champions the protection of wildlife and their habitats by broadening public understanding of and engagement in the natural and cultural resources of the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge. The Friends of Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge is a non-profit dedicated to promoting educational programs of the Ridgefield NWR, and protecting and enhancing its wildlife habitat. The Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge offers a beautiful natural environment for exploring and bird watching, community events, and opportunities to get involved in habitat restoration programs.
