National Memorial To the Women Who Worked On the Home Front Foundatio
It’s time for a monument to the WWII women on the home front. #RosieTheRiveter #WeCanDoIt We want to build awareness of the contributions women on the home front made in support of the war efforts during WWII by creating a memorial in Washington, DC to honor them. The Women Who Worked on the Home Front WWII Memorial Act authorizes the Women Who Worked on the Home Front Foundation to build a commemorative work on federal land in Washington, DC to honor the women, without whom, we could not have sustained the war effort. In addition, they paved the way for generations of women in the workforce.
